Cold Weather Beauty Tips

  • A LITTLE TIPSY - Is it still cold where you live? It is currently 38 degrees here in Utah. Yay. So the stores are breaking out the swimwear while I'm still trying to squeeze my kids in to their car seats with parkas on.
  • A PUMPKIN & A PRINCESS - As a stay at home mom my morning beauty routine usually consists of throwing my hair up in a pony tail, putting on some comfy yoga pants, and dabbling on a little makeup to cover up my dark circles.
  • BEACH BUM AND BABY - Living in Virginia it doesn't get too painfully cold - just enough to give us some winter "blahs" and really dry out your skin and lips!! My top beauty products for the winter are as follows...
  • CHRISTINA'S ADVENTURES - I will start this post by telling you that I am 100% not an expert on beauty, OR even close to being a model. BUT I have used many different forms of make-up over the past 10ish years, and I love sharing what works!
  • CLASSIC MOMMY - As much as I'd like to deny it, winter is in full swing. As a result, so is frizzy hair, dry skin, and chapped lips.
  • CREATIVE KRISTI - Today I want to talk about something that I have to deal with each year with living in Maine--cold weather beauty routines!
  • DANNIE SPEAKS - Winter is a beautiful season. Snow. Cozy fires. Snuggling up with cocoa. What’s not to love? Well, winter skin!
  • DIVA DIETITIAN - Like so many, I struggle with dry skin in the winter time. My hands are often cracked and scratchy from washing them too much, my cuticles- a dry mess, my scalp (hate to admit this one) always gets a little flaky in the winter.
  • EAST 9TH STREET - Winter is one of my favorite seasons. It brings bulky sweaters, my Ugg boots and some of my favorite holidays. Unfortunately what it also brings, is dull-looking, dry, itchy skin.
  • GENFEM - Happy Valentine’s Day! Today I’m writing a sponsored post about winter beauty rituals. This post isn’t supposed to mention high end department store products, which is not a problem for me because a lot of my favorite beauty products are from drug stores.
  • JENNI FROM THE BLOG - I think we can all agree that your beauty rituals vary slightly from season to season. In the summer, we're all worried about pretty feet & toes, bright summery colors, and that our armpits and legs are shaven everyday so we can wear appropriate cloth
  • LIL-KID-THINGS - Is it Spring yet? I am in North Carolina and while we have had an extremely mild winter, it’s been cold enough to keep me inside much of the time. I just don’t do well in the cold.
  • LYZLENZ - If there is one phrase I hear alot it is, “Wow, you look nothing like your baby.” And if there is a phrase that I never hear, it is, “You look so good what’s your secret?”
  • MAKEUP AND BEAUTY BLOG - Yesterday I wasn’t quite singin’ in the rain, but I did hum as I walked in it. Yep, it’s been raining here in Northern California (Sunday night was even stormy!), and I’ve been doing my best to stay dry.
  • MOMMY GAGA - I don't know about you all, but I absolutely cannot wait for the Spring season! I am tired of all of the rainy cold weather, I want to break out my Spring dresses and sandals.
  • MY SKIN CONCIERGE - Cold Weather Beauty issues got you down? Well if you are located in one of our cooler areas of the world, the answer most certainly is yes about now.
  • MY SUBURBAN UTOPIA - Since having my first baby, my body chemistry has changed noticeably. Pre-Katherine, I rarely needed lotion after a shower. But now?
  • OUTBLUSH - Baby, it's cold out there, and we all know what frigid air does: Dries you out faster than a visit to the Sahara. Hair, skin, eyes, lips.... Dry, cracked, and lifeless, aka not fun and not attractive.
  • PLAYING HOUSE FULL TIME - Winter is usually my gig. I love cold weather, layers, hot drinks and a good excuse to cuddle-up all day and night. BUT… then I had a toddler.
  • SWEET C'S DESIGNS - I have to admit, I have been a bit of a slacker in the beauty department lately. Something about being big and pregnant and chasing around an active toddler doesn’t excite me to spend a ton of time on myself everyday- but I have had a few special events l
  • THE BEST OF THIS LIFE - Happy Valentine's Day! Today I'm sharing my favorite beauty products and tips for getting through the coldest season of the year. When the arctic weather comes around, my beauty routine needs to shift right along with the dropping temperature.
  • THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT - One of my resolutions for this year was to put more focus on taking care of myself. After completing the recent cleanse, I feel like I have a bit of a renewed focus on taking care of my body – both inside and out.
  • THE MOMMY FILES - Feeling and looking beautiful are both important to me as a woman and as a single mom. Walgreens knows this and strives to provide products for consumers that help us to achieve the beauty we long for.
  • THE ONE IN HEELS - This is the time of year when our makeup routine falls into a rut. We're past the holiday sparkle and we're marking time until the pretty spring colors arrive. What are we supposed to do with our faces in the meantime?
  • THE POSH PARENT - Harsh winter winds, being indoors with the heat blasting and the lack of sunshine on your face can do some serious damage to your beauty routine. I always find myself pasty white, dry and flaky and in desperate need of pedicures...
  • THE WEIRD GIRL - This opp came up to write about Winter beauty and I got kind of drooly. See, over the years I have amassed a good amount of knowledge about everyday beauty and I have no one to talk to about it!
